Meg and I had our Spring/Summer photo shoot Monday with the very talented photographer Amber Shader (check her out, she was just featured on Style Me Pretty – snaps to her!). We happen to love our area (if you haven’t been able to tell) and feel so blessed the wonderful DuPont family has erected the most beautiful mansions all over the Brandywine Valley. Winterthur was gracious enough to allow us to shoot there, and it is honestly one of the most beautiful, serene places on earth! The flowers had just started to bloom and the birds were chirping with the insanely warm weather we’ve been having here! Meg and I snapped a couple of our own photos in some of our newest styles, of course the professional pics will be up later this week, but for now, here I am styling our By Land or By Sea dress.
While shooting the other day, we happen to run into the ladies of Houpette walking the rolling feilds and got to catch up with them as well! If you haven’t been into their lovely boutique in Greenville, GO! They will hook IT UP when it comes to anything beauty! (trust us.)

It seems as our business grows, so do we! We’ve had back to back meetings all week this week (love me a skinny vanilla latte with any meeting) with a quick NYC trip intermingled in our already packed schedules. I’ve been feeling like my checklist of things to do is longer than Santa’s list this year. But, with all the hustle and bustle comes new opportunities, new ideas, and a Mamie collection which continues to grow and grow! So, I can’t help but say it….TGIF!!!
We snapped a couple quick pics in between our crazy packed schedule. I’m wearing a chambray shirt from Old Navy under our Sorbet Snaps Sweater paired with our Riding Leggings (which I’m not gonna lie, I’m kinda obsessed with right now) and my Hunter Wellies to keep my tootsies dry! So, Meg and I headed up to the Big Apple Tuesday for one of our yearly trips to market. There is definitely something about being in NYC that really is exhilarating….maybe, it’s how everything is quadruple the price of the rest of the country or its how there are so many walks of life on the streets of NYC, but sometimes it’s nice to get out of lil state and head out in the big, bad mighty world. Anyhow, we came home with all kinds of new pieces for the store come Summertime, including jewelry and purses, super cute, BRIGHT dresses! We get totally excited by market! I wore a comfortable outfit because we are on our feet all day on NYC days, including our Perfect Jeggings, our Tangerine Stripes Sweater, a Puffer Jacket from Lands End and one of our Chunky Scarfs from this past winter and Miltary Boots from DSW.
